Farmer Support
Small and marginal farmers form the backbone of rural India, yet they face enormous challenges — from lack of access to quality inputs like seeds and fertilizers, to limited knowledge of modern agricultural practices. Without proper support, many farmers struggle to achieve adequate yields, leaving their families vulnerable to food insecurity and debt.
Vishwanayak Foundation's Farmer Support Program directly addresses these gaps. We believe that providing farmers with the right tools, inputs, and knowledge is an investment in the food security and prosperity of entire communities.

"A farmer who has good seeds and the right knowledge can feed not just his family — but his entire village."
We distribute certified, high-yield variety seeds and balanced fertilizers at affordable or no cost to small and marginal farmers ahead of each sowing season. Our team works with agricultural experts to select the right varieties suited to local soil conditions and climate, ensuring maximum productivity.
We also provide farmers with safe, government-approved pesticides and crop protection chemicals along with proper training on their safe usage. Our agricultural field officers conduct on-site demonstrations to ensure farmers can protect their crops from pests and diseases without harming the environment or their own health.
Through our program, farmers receive access to modern, cost-effective farming equipment — including sprayers, small tillers, and irrigation accessories — that reduce labour and improve efficiency. We also organise equipment-sharing programmes in villages where individual ownership is not feasible.
Farmers who participated in our support program have reported yield increases of 30–40%, reduced input costs, and improved confidence in adopting new agricultural practices. Many have gone on to mentor other farmers in their villages, creating a chain of knowledge and progress.
