Labour Welfare
The unorganized labor force — construction workers, daily wage earners, migrant laborers, domestic workers, and artisans — forms the invisible backbone of our nation's economy. They build our roads, erect our buildings, and keep our cities running. Yet, millions of these hardworking men and women live without access to basic social security, safety training, fair wages, or dignified working conditions.
At Vishwanayak Foundation, we believe that every worker deserves dignity, safety, and opportunity. Our Workers Support initiative is dedicated to bridging the vast gap between the rights workers are entitled to and the reality they face — providing practical support, skill development, health welfare, and awareness programs that make a lasting difference in their lives.
The backbone of our infrastructure is the hardworking labor force. However, many workers in the unorganized sector lack access to safety training, social security, and fair health facilities. Our foundation dedicatedly works to bridge this gap — ensuring that no worker is left unprotected, unheard, or unsupported.

"Dignity of labor is the foundation of a growing nation. Supporting our workers is supporting our future."
We provide structured vocational training sessions for workers to upgrade their skills in masonry, electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, and other technical trades. By equipping workers with certified, market-relevant skills, we help them access better-paying opportunities, move out of casual daily-wage dependency, and build more stable and dignified livelihoods for their families.
Safety at work saves lives. We organize regular workplace safety workshops to educate workers on hazard identification, accident prevention, and safe working practices. Alongside this, we distribute essential Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) — including helmets, gloves, safety boots, and masks — to workers on construction sites and in other high-risk environments, ensuring they are protected every single day.
Millions of unorganized workers remain unaware of the government schemes and insurance policies they are entitled to. Our teams conduct dedicated awareness camps and registration drives to help workers enroll in schemes such as the e-Shram portal, PMSBY, PMJJBY, and other state labor welfare programs. By connecting workers to their rightful benefits, we help secure their financial safety net.
Poor working conditions and lack of healthcare access make laborers especially vulnerable to health issues. We organize regular health camps at construction sites, industrial areas, and labor colonies — providing free medical check-ups, medicines, and health awareness sessions. Our programs specifically address occupational health risks, nutrition, and access to emergency medical care for workers and their families.
Many workers are unaware of their basic legal rights — minimum wages, working hour regulations, maternity benefits, and protection from exploitation. We conduct awareness workshops that educate workers about their rights under Indian labor laws, help them understand their payslips and entitlements, and provide guidance on how to raise grievances through the appropriate channels. An informed worker is a protected worker.
Migrant and seasonal workers face unique challenges — displacement, social isolation, lack of documentation, and exploitation. We extend special support to migrant labor communities through identity document assistance, access to welfare schemes, shelter guidance, and community connect programs that help them build a support network wherever they work.
Together, we are not just supporting workers — we are building a movement that recognizes the dignity of every laborer, protects their rights, and ensures that the people who build our nation can also build better futures for themselves and their families.
